Hussein Harb took on his first collegiate coaching position when he joined the Felician University women's and men's cross-country staff in August 2018.
After beginning his collegiate career as a sprinter and hurdler at Division-I New Jersey Institute of Technology, Harb participated in three seasons of cross-country and track & field at Bloomfield College. He was a captain in all three of his Bear cross-country campaigns, the first two for current Felician head coach Elson Smajlaj. He was a member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee at both NJIT and Bloomfield.
Harb, who is tri-lingual (Spanish, Arabic), received a B.S. in biology from Bloomfield in 2017. He is a former team MVP at Memorial High School in West New York, N.J., where he still resides. He is a certified substitute teacher.
Harb spent the spring 2018 athletics season as a volunteer track & field assistant at Memorial High, specializing in hurdles and sprints.
