Women's Soccer Wraps Up 2019 Campaign

WATERBURY, Conn. – The Felician University women's soccer team concluded its 2019 season with a 3-0 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference loss to host Post University on Wednesday afternoon at LaMoy Field.

Felician completed the 22nd season in program history with an overall won-lost-tied record of 4-10-1. The Golden Falcons went 2-9-1 in conference play.

Post (7-7-3, 6-5-1) took control early, tallying twice during the match's first 22 minutes. Offensive opportunities were scarce for the visitors. The Eagles ran up shooting advantages of 13-1 in the first period and 23-3 for the day.

Post scored in the third minute of period two to put the game away. Junior midfielder/forward Fitore Kllobocista (Watertown, Conn.) finished with a goal and two assists for the Eagles. Post freshman Hailey McGee (Jackson, N.J.), who turned in the game's second goal, was active all afternoon with nine shots.

Redshirt junior Danielle Jenkin (Pompton Lakes, N.J.) led the Golden Falcons with two shots. Felician junior Paloma Garcia (Union City, N.J.), making her first collegiate start at goalkeeper, collected nine saves.

With seven points, Felician will finish in 11th place in the final CACC standings. Post is the No. 6 seed in next week's conference tournament.
