NEW HAVEN, Conn. -- The Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) is proud to introduce a new series called "Make It Yours!" The online series is being done in conjunction with NCAA Division II's new moniker of the same name, which was released in the summer of 2015. The CACC will highlight one member school during an entire day on the conference's website, as the feature will run through January, February and March.
Each school will have three student-athletes profiled, as they discuss how they have made their collegiate experience unique through athletics, academics, community engagement and other aspects of campus life. The day will conclude with an online display that depicts the various aspects that make each school's athletic department special. The content can be found on both the CACC website and the school's own athletics website.
Felician University is the first CACC school to take part in the new series, and will be highlighted on Thursday, January 28. Student-athletes to be profiled are baseball sophomore Matt Diesel (Massapequa Park, N.Y./Massapequa), women's cross-country junior Natasha Gonel (Howell, N.J./Howell), and women's soccer sophomore Amanda Nowak (Lyndhurst, N.J./Lyndhurst).
