EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. – Sophomore Giorvania LeRouge (Elizabeth, N.J./Elizabeth) and junior Sabrina Roldan (Woodbridge, N.J/Woodbridge) bettered their own Felician University women's track & field records on Saturday, highlighting the Golden Falcons' trip to the 11th Annual All-American Meet, hosted by East Stroudsburg University at Eiler-Martin Stadium.
The meet, which contained 35 women's teams from all three NCAA divisions and the NJCAA, was not scored on a team basis.
LeRouge completed the 400-meter run in one minute, 8.16 seconds. She shaved two seconds off of her Felician record in that event, established on Apr. 17 at the United States Merchant Marine Academy. She placed 39th out of 51 entrants. LeRouge also ran the 200-meter dash on Saturday, and was 59th out of 70 in 29.94 secnods.
Roldan bettered by more than five seconds her Golden Falcon standard in the 3,000 meters, set last year at East Stroudsburg. On Saturday, she clocked a time of 11:22.25 and placed 15th out of 28.
Junior Kate Rohsler (Fredon, N.J./Kittatinny Regional) also participated in the 3,000, and recorded a career-best time of 12:01.23, good for 23rd place. Rohsler was 36th of 77 in the 800 meters as well (2:38.81).
Senior Michelle Camacho (Moonachie, N.J./Wood-Ridge) set a personal record in the 1,500 meters with a time of 5:35.81. She finished 34th out of 51 entrants.
Junior Success Edioma (Newark, N.J./East Side) paced Felician in the field events. She finished 26th in the long jump (4.14 meters) and 19th in the triple jump (9.20 meters).
