Rohsler Makes Felician Track History With CACC Weekly Honor

RUTHERFORD, N.J. – Felician University junior Kate Rohsler (Fredon, N.J./Kittatinny Regional) has been chosen as the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Women's Track Athlete of the Week for the period ending Apr. 3, the CACC announced on Monday.

Rohsler is the first member of the Felician women's track & field team to earn a CACC weekly award in the Golden Falcons' two-year program history.

Rohsler was honored on the strength of her performance in the 1,500-meter run during the Oscar Moore Open, hosted by Rowan University on Apr. 1. She completed the event in a time of five minutes, 23.13 seconds, shaving 49 seconds off of her previous personal best. Rohsler placed second among non-Collegiate Track Conference competitors, scoring eight points toward the Golden Falcons' program record of 53.
