Two years removed from a successful four-year playing career for coach Notte and the Golden Falcons, Julia Sheridan joined the Felician women's soccer staff in August 2018. It is her first collegiate coaching position. She is a former trainer and private instructor at Parisi FasTrack Soccer in Fair Lawn.
Sheridan was a three-year starter for Felician at goalkeeper, and holds the program's all-time record for goals-against average at 1.29. In 51 starts from 2012-15, she produced a won-lost-tied record of 20-18-7 while posting 10 shutouts and sharing four others. As a junior in 2014, she was chosen to the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference All-Tournament Team while helping the Golden Falcons to their first of back-to-back CACC semifinal appearances.
Sheridan was the valedictorian of the Felician University Class of 2016, graduating with a B.S. degree in accounting. She was induted into the Sigma Beta Delta business honor society and the Chi Alpha Sigma college athlete honor society. She went on to earn an MBA from Southern New Hampshire University.
While attending Community High School in Teaneck, Sheridan twice attained all-state honors for Hasbrouck Heights High. She was a three-sport all-conference awardee for the Aviators. Sheridan is a compliance manager for Biggings Lacy Shapiro & Company in Princeton. She is engaged to be married to Philip Caruso, and resides in Secaucus.
