28 Golden Falcons Earn D2ADA Academic Achievement

RUTHERFORD, N.J. – Twenty-eight Felician College student-athletes have been named winners of the Division 2 Athletics Directors Association (D2ADA) Academic Achievement Awards for 2014-15. The Academic Achievement Award is a program that recognizes accomplishments of student-athletes at the NCAA Division 2 level.

In order to be recognized with a D2ADA Academic Achievement Award, recipients must have a cumulative grade-point average of 3.50 or higher, have attended college for at least four semesters, and have been an active member of an intercollegiate athletic team during his/her last academic year. The recipient's athletics director must also be a current dues-paying member of the D2ADA.

The women's soccer team was the most prolific Felician squad with 10 honorees. The Golden Falcons had claimed 33 winners overall in 2013-14.

Nationally, 147 institutions and a record number of student-athletes (7,320) were recognized, including 312 student-athletes from the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference.
