RUTHERFORD, N.J. – Felician College freshman Katina Kozlowski (Milton, N.Y./Our Lady of Lourdes) has been chosen as the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Women's Soccer Rookie of the Week for the period ending Oct. 5, the CACC announced on Monday.
In Felician's only action of last week, the Golden Falcons defeated Holy Family University at home on Saturday, 2-1. Holy Family entered the day in second place in the CACC. Kozlowski, a 5-foot-4 midfielder/forward, scored Felician's second goal in the 32nd minute, and it proved to be the game-winner.
Kozlowski has played in all nine games for Felician this season, starting six. She has registered two goals and one assist. She is a 2014 graduate of Our Lady of Lourdes High of Poughkeepsie, N.Y.
Kozlowski is the second consecutive Golden Falcon to earn the CACC Women's Soccer Rookie of the Week Award. Classmate Amanda Nowak (Lyndhurst, N.J./Lyndhurst) was honored for the period ending Sept. 28.

Also on Monday, Felician sophomore defender Carly Brantner (Waldwick, N.Y./Eastern Christian) was named to the CACC Weekly Honor Roll for the second time this season. Golden Falcon senior Kassie Topp (Upper Saddle River, N.J./Northern Highlands) of women's cross-country and sophomore Mike Secreti (Paramus, N.J./Paramus) of men's cross-country were selected for their sport's CACC Weekly Honor Roll as well.
Felician women's soccer is guided by seventh-year head coach Thomas Notte of Mount Arlington. Kozlowski and the Golden Falcons (5-2-2, 4-1-1 CACC) are next in action this evening, when they host Post University in CACC play at 5 p.m. at the Lyndhurst Recreation Complex.
