RUTHERFORD, N.J. – The Felician University women's lacrosse team has been named a 2017-18 Zag Sports Academic Honor Squad by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA). Felician earns the award for the first time in the three-year history of its program.

A total of 339 four-year college women's lacrosse teams achieved the honor by posting a team grade-point average of 3.000 or better for the fall 2017 and spring 2018 semesters. Felician was one of 61 NCAA Division II institutions to be honored, including one of six members of the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference.
The Golden Falcons, led by second-year head coach Natalie Bermudez, amassed a 3.117 GPA for the award period. More information is available at www.iwlca.org/news_article/show/936142.
