Andrew Toriello was selected in February 2014 to lead Felician's endeavor into intercollegiate women's bowling. He guided the Golden Falcons to a winning record in their inaugural season of 2014-15. In each of its first two years of existence under Toriello's watch, Felician has been second nationally among NCAA programs in team grade-point average.

Toriello was the head boys' and girls' coach at East Ramapo High School in Spring Valley, N.Y., from 2008-11, and saw his teams qualify for two state sectional tournaments. Since then, he had been working as a private coach, specializing in form, timing and approach.

As a participant, Toriello raised his bowling average 52 pins in a five-year stretch from 2008-13. His 218 in 2012-13 was the second-highest average in the 30-team Wednesday Night Triples at Montvale Lanes. He owns three career sanctioned 300 games, including two consecutively, and has a personal-best three-game series of 798.

Toriello worked full-time at Felician as a financial aid counselor and system specialist for five years until being hired in September 2015 as the University's assistant athletics director for recreation and club sports.  He earned a BA in business administration from Felician in 2014 and an MS in sports management from Liberty University Online in 2016.

A native of Rockland County, Toriello is a graduate of Ramapo (N.Y.) High, and resides in Wallington.
