Women's Bowling Listed In Final Small-College Poll

RUTHERFORD, N.J. – The National Tenpin Coaches Association (NTCA) released its final overall and Division II/III 2016-17 national NCAA women's bowling polls late last month. Felician University was ranked No. 12 in the Division II/III version.

Felician, a third-year program coached by Andrew Toriello, was ranked No. 10 in the preseason version of the small-college ranking. The Golden Falcons are one of five East Coast Conference members ranked among the 15 teams listed in the final Division II/III poll. Felician is an associate member of the ECC solely for women's bowling.

Toriello guided Felician to a 59-41 won-lost record in 2016-17, with the Golden Falcons setting school records for wins and winning percentage. Felician finished third in the ECC Championship tournament for the second consecutive year.

McKendree University was named the No. 1 team in both polls after winning the 2017 National Collegiate Championship.
