Buck Named ECC Rookie Of The Week

RUTHERFORD, N.J. – Felician University freshman Kaitlyn Buck (Farmingdale, N.J./Howell) has been chosen as the East Coast Conference (ECC) Women's Bowling Rookie of the Week for the period ending Feb. 14, the ECC announced on Tuesday.

Felician was accepted into the ECC as an associate member for the sport of women's bowling on Tuesday.

Buck, a 5-foot-2 left-hander, was selected to the all-tournament team of the Golden Bear Classic, hosted by Kutztown University on Feb. 12-14. The tournament was an all-Baker event, and Buck posted the second-highest Baker frame average from combined Friday and Saturday play, a 20.11. She was in the line-ups that helped Felician set school records for Baker game (265) and Baker five-game series (1,008, twice).

The Golden Falcons finished sixth out of 12 teams in the Golden Bear Classic, and posted an 8-6 dual-match record during the tournament.
