RUTHERFORD, N.J. – Felician University senior Kameron Stone (Bronx, N.Y./Cardinal Spellman) has been selected as the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Women's Basketball co-Defensive Player of the Week for the period ending Dec. 9, the CACC announced on Monday. Stone wins a CACC weekly award for the first time in her career.
Stone, a 5-foot-10 forward, averaged 12.5 points, 12.0 rebounds (7.0 defensive), 2.0 blocks and 1.5 steals during a 1-1 week for Felician. She totaled 15 points, 15 rebounds and three blocks during a 67-61 road league victory over Nyack College on Dec. 4.

Stone has started all six games for Felician this season. She is averaging 12.0 points, 7.3 rebounds and 1.7 blocks, all team highs. She is a 2015 graduate of Cardinal Spellman High of Bronx, N.Y.
Stone shared this week's award with University of the Sciences freshman Taylor Hamm.
Felician (1-5, 1-0 CACC) is guided by 11th-year head coach Steve Fagan of Howell. Stone and the Golden Falcons are next in action on Saturday, when they host Clarion University in non-conference action at 1 p.m. at Job Gymnasium in Rutherford.
