RUTHERFORD, N.J. – The Felician University women's basketball team will sponsor its eighth annual "Shoot For Hunger" holiday food drive during the women's and men's home doubleheader against Dominican (N.Y.) College on Tuesday, November 24, at 5:30 and 8 p.m.
Fans attending either game are asked to bring a non-perishable food item. Donations will be collected in the lobby of Job Gymnasium beginning at 5 p.m. until halftime of the men's game.
All food collected at this year's event will be donated to the Rutherford Community Pantry. The Borough of Rutherford houses one of Felician's two Bergen County campuses, including the College's residence halls and athletics offices. The pantry is located less than one mile from the Felician University Rutherford campus.
Anyone that cannot attend next Tuesday's games, but would like to contribute, can bring food items to the Felician athletics office (Lower Level, Student Center, Rutherford campus) on Friday, Monday or Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., or give the items to a women's basketball team member.
