Frank Fiore joined the Felician softball staff in November 2016, and is primarily responsible for player development of the pitchers. Having previously served as the pitching coach at Indian Hills High School of Oakland and Pompton Lakes High, he entered his first collegiate coaching position.
Still active as a player, Fiore has pitched Major and Class A fastpitch softball for 30+ years. He was named Regional Most Valuable Player while leading Presbyterian Boys Club to a Mid-Atlantic Regional title in 1994, and pitched in five national tournaments with the New Jersey Windmillers. His playing career has taken him to Canada and Mexico.
Fiore is a law enforcement officer for the Oakland (N.J.) Police Department, with 26 years of service. In December 2017, he was elected first vice president of the New Jersey State Traffic Officers Association.
He resides in Oakland with his wife, Karen. The couple has five children.
