RUTHERFORD, N.J. – Felician College junior Amanda Lopez (Riverbank, Calif./Riverbank) has been named to the 2015 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Softball All-Tournament Team.
The All-Tournament Team was announced at the conclusion of the CACC Championship Game on Saturday afternoon on the campus of Georgian Court University in Lakewood, N.J. Lopez, a 5-foot-2 catcher and designated player, was the only Golden Falcon to enjoy a multi-hit game in the CACC Tournament. She went 2 for 4 in Felician's loser's bracket loss to Bloomfield College on Thursday.
Lopez started 41 games in 2015. She batted .256 with two home runs, 21 runs scored, and 15 runs batted in. She is a 2012 graduate of Riverbank High, and transferred to Felician after one year at California State University-San Bernardino.
The Golden Falcons amassed overall won-lost record of 18-23, and finished in sixth place on the CACC table with a 14-12 league mark. They reached the CACC playoffs for the first time since 2012.
