Felician's Secreti Is CACC All-Academic Selection For Third Time

RUTHERFORD, N.J. – Felician University men's cross-country student-athlete Mike Secreti (Paramus, N.J./Paramus) has been named to the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Fall 2016 All-Academic Team, the CACC announced on Thursday. Secreti earns the honor for the third consecutive year, the maximum possible in one sport.

In order to be named to the CACC All-Academic Team, recipients must have used a season of eligibility while participating in a CACC fall championship sport, be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, be a second-year student-athlete at their current school, and have achieved a cumulative grade-point average of 3.50 or higher at the end of the immediate preceding term.

Secreti, a senior, was Felician's frontrunner in all seven of its races this season. He earned all-conference honors for the third time in his career by finishing sixth in the CACC Championship race, then placed 56th in the NCAA Division II East Regional two weeks later. He carries a 3.99 cumulative GPA as a psychology major.

Secreti is a 2012 graduate of Paramus High School. He is the second Golden Falcon student-athlete to earn CACC All-Academic honors this year.

Conference-wide, Secreti was one of 22 student-athletes to be honored in men's cross-country this fall, including one of seven for the third time.
