RUTHERFORD, N.J. – The Felician College men's cross-country team, guided by 11th-year head coach John Brennan, remained the No. 8 team in the NCAA Division II East Region according to the most recent set of regional rankings released last week by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross-Country Coaches Association.
Felician stayed in the No. 8 slot for the fourth consecutive week. The Golden Falcons are coming off of a second place finish in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Championship on Oct. 21 in Philadelphia. The 2012 CACC team champion, Wilmington (Del.) University, remained directly ahead of Felician in the No. 7 spot.
The final set of regional rankings will be determined by the top 10 teams in the Division II East Regional Championship, to be hosted by the University of Massachusetts Lowell on Sunday at noon at Mines Falls Park in Nashua, N.H. In 2011, Felician set a school record by placing seventh at regionals.
