RUTHERFORD, N.J. – Felician University freshman Jake Storako (Laurel Springs, N.J./Highland Regional) has been chosen as the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Men's Golf Rookie of the Week for the period ending Apr. 18, the CACC announced on Wednesday. Storako earns the honor for the third consecutive week.
Storako, 5-foot-9 and 160 pounds, tied for sixth place out of 75 entrants at the Mike Bello Invitational, a 36-hole event on Apr. 14 hosted by Le Moyne College at Timber Banks Golf Club in Baldwinsville, N.Y. He opened with a round of 75 and followed with 76 for a seven-over-par total of 161.

Storako is the Golden Falcons' top scorer for the 2016-17 season, with an average of 77.4 for 17 rounds. He has shot in the 70s 13 times, including all seven of his spring semester rounds. He is a 2016 graduate of Highland Regional of Blackwood.
Felician is guided by 12th-year head coach Ben DiNallo Jr. of River Edge. Storako and the Golden Falcons conclude their 2016-17 season at the CACC Championship tournament on Apr. 25-26 in Middletown, Del.
