RUTHERFORD, N.J. – Felician College senior J.R. Pringley (Elizabeth, N.J./Linden) has been named to the 2014-15 All-Met Division II Men's Second Team by the Metropolitan Basketball Writers Association. Balloting, which was announced last Friday, was performed by area head coaches.
Pringley, a 6-foot-5 small forward, is an All-Met selection for the first time. He started all 25 of Felician's games, and averaged 17.4 points (7th in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference) and 8.0 rebounds (5th) while shooting 51.8 percent from the field (9th). He was also named to the All-CACC Third Team.
A four-year veteran and three-year starter, Pringley ranks No. 7 on Felician's all-time scoring list with 1,058 career points. He is the sixth different Golden Falcon male to earn All-Met honors. Pringley is a 2011 graduate of Linden High.
Felician completed 2014-15 with a won-lost record of 6-19. The Golden Falcons tied for sixth place in the CACC North Division with a 6-13 league mark.

Pringley and the rest of the All-Met teams from both genders and all three NCAA divisions will be honored at the 82nd Annual NIT/MBWA Haggerty Awards Dinner on Wednesday, April 22, at the Westchester Marriott in Tarrytown, N.Y. The All-Met awards are the oldest set of continuous college basketball awards presented by the media.
