Felician Baseball Rises To No. 19 In National Writers' Poll

RUTHERFORD, N.J. – The Felician University baseball team is ranked No. 19 in the current National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) national NCAA Division II poll, released Tuesday evening.

When Felician debuted in last week's poll, it was ranked No. 23. The Golden Falcons then went 5-1 on the week, and won two more games on Tuesday to improve to 20-7 on the season.

Felician is ranked No. 2 in the NCBWA Division II East Region Poll. The top team in the region, Southern New Hampshire University, checks in at No. 7 nationally.

Felician is a member of the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference. The Golden Falcons are scheduled to travel to the University of the Sciences on Friday and to Concordia (N.Y.) College on Saturday for doubleheaders each day.
