RUTHERFORD, N.J. – Felician College freshman Bruce Strickland (Hazlet, N.J./Raritan) and sophomore Brennan Price (Middlesex, N.J./Middlesex) have been named all-region in baseball in the East Region of NCAA Division II. The players were honored by different awarding bodies.

Strickland was elected to the Daktronics/Division II Conference Commissioners Association First Team at the positon of utility-non pitcher on Wednesday. One day earlier, Price was chosen for the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association Second Team.

Strickland split time between second base and third base this season. In 44 games, the 6-foot, 180-pounder batted a team-high .350 with a .434 on-base percentage. He had nine doubles and two triples, scored 25 runs, drove in 25, and stole nine bases. He was also named the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Rookie of the Year. He is a 2014 graduate of Raritan High.

As a First-Team selection, Strickland advances to the Daktronics/D2CCA All-America ballot.

Price, a 6-foot-9, 260-pound first-baseman, is an all-region honoree for the first time. In 47 games, he batted .277 with 11 doubles, two triples, four home runs, 23 runs scored and 35 runs batted in. He was voted to the All-CACC first team. Price is a 2013 graduate of Middlesex High.

Felician completed the 2015 season with a won-lost record of 20-27, and tied for fifth in the CACC with an 11-9 league mark. The Golden Falcons were defeated in the single-elimination opening round of the conference playoffs by Chestnut Hill College on May 2.

Strickland and Price are the 11th and 12th different Golden Falcon baseball players to attain all-region status since the program joined the NCAA in 2003.
