Brill Repeats As CACC Player Of The Week

RUTHERFORD, N.J. – Felician College senior Aaron Brill (West Palm Beach, Fla./John I. Leonard) has been chosen as the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Baseball Player of the Week for the period ending Apr. 6, the CACC announced today.

Brill claimed the honor for the second consecutive week. It is his third conference Player-of-the-Week award in his two-year career at Felician.

Brill led the Golden Falcons to a 3-1 week, all against CACC opponents. He batted .444 (8 for 18) with four extra-base hits. On Apr. 2 at Philadelphia University, he hit a Game 2 go-ahead grand slam in the top of the ninth inning that carried Felician to a 9-7 win and a sweep of the day's doubleheader. For the week, he scored six runs, drove in six, stole three bases and slugged .833

Brill has played in all 25 games this season for Felician. He leads the CACC with seven triples, and ranks second in the conference in batting (.392) and RBI (22).

Brill is a 2009 graduate of John I. Leonard High of Greenacres, Fla., and transferred to Felician after playing one season each at the University of Maryland-Baltimore County and Kirkwood Community College. He has 179 collegiate hits, including 110 (in 73 games) as a Golden Falcon.
