RUTHERFORD, N.J. – Felician College freshman Brennan Price (Middlesex, N.J./Middlesex) has been chosen as the New Jersey Collegiate Baseball Association Division II/III Rookie Player of the Week for the period ending Mar. 16, the NJCBA announced on Tuesday.
Price, 6-foot-9 and 275 pounds, started two games at first base and two at designated hitter during a 2-2 week for the Golden Falcons. He batted .444 (8 for 18) and slugged .556 with two doubles, two runs scored, and five runs batted in. In a 13-2 victory over Pace University on Saturday in Cary, N.C., Price drove in four runs and pitched a scoreless inning of relief.
One day earlier, Price was named the Rookie of the Week in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC). He is batting .273 with three doubles, a home run and 10 RBI in 13 games this season.

Felician, guided by 11th-year head coach Chris Langan of Hazlet, owns a won-lost record of 7-9. The Golden Falcons next compete on Thursday, when they begin CACC play for 2014 with a doubleheader at Dominican (N.Y.) College at 3 p.m. in Pomona, N.Y. The home opener is set for Friday against Merrimack College at 3 p.m. at the Lyndhurst Recreation Complex.
