RUTHERFORD, N.J. – Felician College unveiled a new set of athletics department logos today. The updated marks, which will be used effective immediately, represent the first redesign of Felician’s athletic visual identity in at least 10 years.
The new design preserves Felician’s existing nickname, Golden Falcons, and color scheme of hunter green and goldenrod. The primary mark features a redrawn, right-facing golden falcon to the right of a two-level “FELICIAN COLLEGE” logotype in a custom font. The falcon head was created to be more dynamic and energetic than in the version it replaces.
“We are very excited to be introducing a new look for Felician College athletics,” said Felician director of athletics Ben DiNallo Jr. “We are thrilled with this new logo and feel that it is a great representation of our department as a whole. We would like to thank all those that were involved in making this happen.”
The design can also be customized for each of Felician’s 10 varsity intercollegiate sports.
Released with the new primary mark were several alternate logos, including one with the falcon atop (rather than aside) the “FELICIAN COLLEGE” logotype, as well as an “FC” lettermark.
Felician College is a member of NCAA Division II and competes in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference.
