RUTHERFORD, N.J. – Twenty-two Felician College student-athletes have been named winners of the Division 2 Athletics Directors Association (D2ADA) Academic Achievement Awards. The Academic Achievement Awards is a program that recognizes accomplishments of student-athletes at the NCAA Division 2 level.
In order to be recognized with a D2ADA Academic Achievement Award, recipients must have a cumulative grade-point average of 3.50 or higher, have attended college for at least four semesters, and have been an active member of an intercollegiate athletic team during his/her last academic year. The recipient’s athletics director must also be a current dues-paying member of the D2ADA.
For Felician, the women’s soccer team led the way with six honorees. Four other sports claimed three winners each.
Nationally, a record number of institutions (118) and student-athletes (4,492) were recognized, including 233 student-athletes from the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference.
